The Duro-Last Roofing System has been used for commercial and industrial flat and low-sloped roof structures since 1978. Duro-Last partners with roofing companies, like Duerson, known for their commitment to delivering quality installations. This partnership allows Duerson to be one of the few roof manufacturing companies in the Midwest to offer custom fabrication services.

Duro-Last’s custom fabrication process minimizes cracks and leaks because production is completed in a controlled environment. After the production of the custom fabrication, the roofing material is ready for the job site. Approximately 85 percent of seams are completed in the factory, resulting in a quicker, quieter, and easier installation.

Duro-Last Roofing Materials

Duro-Last offers a range of roofing materials designed to create durable industrial and commercial roofs. At Duerson, we provide an array of Duro-Last products to enhance your flat roof. Let’s dive into a few Duro-Last products and their benefits.

Duro-Last Membrane®

Duro-Last membranes are known for their single-ply roofing. This roofing material is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The single layer is durable and cost-effective to install compared to other roofing options. Also, Duro-Last membranes come in a variety of colors and finishes.

Duro-Tuff™ PVC Rolling Membrane

Duro-Tuff PVC Roll Roofing is similar to the traditional Duro-Last membrane as it’s made of PVC, but it is an alternative for contractors looking for the ease of roofing materials in roll form. Roll goods for roofing are roofing materials supplied in rolled-up units, much like how carpets are rolled for easy transport and installation. This format simplifies handling and reduces the complexities of installation. The Duro-Tuff PVC membrane can be custom-cut and is available in five or ten-foot wide rolls.

Duro-Life™ 600

Duro-Life 600 gets its name because it is designed to provide 50 years of insulation, which equals 600 consecutive months of performance! Duro-Life 600 is comprised of the standard Duro-Last PVC membrane and includes components of EXCEPTIONAL® Metals (a division of Duro-Last), steel, concrete, or qualifying wood decks, a minimum 7/16˝ Duro-Last approved cement board, a Duro-Bond Plate, and DuPont™ Styrofoam™.

Duro-Fleece®

The underside of Duro-Fleece is made of high-quality fleece material with a PVC outer membrane. Duro-Fleece comes in rolls of five and ten-foot widths, allowing you to customize the fit for your roof. There’s also Duro-Fleece Plus® with a thicker fleece. Both fleece membranes can be mechanically attached or adhered to.

Durlo-Last® EV

Similar to Duro-Fleece, Duro-Last EV has fleece on the underside but includes Ketone Ethylene Ester (KEE) material. KEE is a tough, flexible, and water-resistant high-molecular material that makes roofs even more durable. Duro-Last EV is a strong, suitable material for low cold temperatures in harsh environments. These roll goods come in ten, five, and two-and-a-half-foot rolls.

Metal Roof and Wall Panel

In addition to PVC roofs, Duro-Last offers a variety of colors in metal panels from EXCEPTIONAL Metals. Duro-Last’s metal roofing materials are aesthetically pleasing and provide durability in all weather conditions.

Duro-Last Performance Enhancers

To further prevent roof damage, Duro-Last employs strong coatings to enhance longevity. Duro-Shield™ products are designed to withstand the toughest environmental conditions, including UV radiation, hail, high winds, and more, for long-term performance.

  • Duro-Shield Silicone Roof Coating: Duro-Shield Silicone provides extra water protection and natural weather resistance.
  • Duro-Shield Acrylic Roof Coating: This white acrylic coating helps protect the structural base of the roof by reflecting sun rays to lower heat buildup and lower energy costs.
  • Other Duro-Shield Products: Besides silicone and acrylic roof coating, Duro-Shield provides pavers, primers, and sealant products.
